Share spheres wherever you want
Sphere embed code is a great way to promote properties and share special moments. Purely HTML 5, this code works well on mobile devices and most major browsers, requires no plug-ins be installed, and no complex controls be learned. Integration couldn't be easier, too. Read on to see how…
The Embed Button
If you've just recorded or discovered a sphere within the app, email a link to yourself so that you can access it on theSphere.com. While viewing a sphere on the site, you'll find a red "Embed" button alongside the other sharing options. Click it to reveal your code.
"Direct" or "Pop-up"
Direct Embeds present a thumbnail within your page that, when clicked/tapped, present the associated sphere within the same thumbnail space (an iFrame). Pop-up embeds provide a thumbnail that, when clicked/tapped, open the associated sphere within a new browser window, full-frame.
Want your Direct Embed to open and play automatically? Just add the bold part below to the end of the source URL within your code: "http://www.thesphere.com/direct_embed/134231?autoplay=true"
The Optional "More" Tab
The More tab is a great way for people to discover more of your portfolio other spheres nearby. If your account contains fewer than 10 spheres, the More tab will show others that are nearby. Have at least 10 spheres in your account? Then the tab will exclusively show your spheres. It will also prioritize those which are part of the same collection. And if that collection is really large, the More tab will limit its contents to 25 other spheres from the same collection. If you'd prefer not to include the More tab in your embeds, you can remove it by adding "?more=false" to the end of the URL in your code. For example: "http://www.thesphere.com/direct_embed/134231?more=false". Also, if you wish to use this in with "?autoplay=true", the combination should be added as: "?autoplay=true&more=false".
The Embed Interface
Published, your sphere title, account name and a few controls are presented along the bottom of the frame. The top of the embed contains the "More" tab (unless excluded) and to the right are two sharing options; one to share via social and email channels, and one to view the sphere on our platform.
